Scout Network (18-25)

All members of the scout movement between 18 and 25 are members of the scout network or Scout Active Support Unit.

As a member of Scout network or a SASU you could be;

  • A Leader in another section
  • A sectional assistant or skills instructor
  • A member of the Scout Fellowship
  • A member in another capacity

Local networks or SASU can be based at County, District or Group Level, some may be based around a specific activity or a gang show, activity centre.

Scout Network or SASU programmes reflect the huge variation in members interests. Some Local Networks will have activities concentrating on a one area of a programme, whilst others will have a wider range. One of the key elements is the opportunity to spend nights away’s, either under canvas or in the other accommodation.
